Information We Collect
ARNote collects only the information required to provide app functionality, transcription, subscription verification and app security.
AI Transcription and Audio Processing
ARNote is a voice recording and AI transcription app. The main purpose of the app is to allow users to record audio notes and convert those recordings into text.
When a user requests AI transcription, ARNote temporarily uploads the user's audio recording to ARNote cloud transcription servers for speech-to-text processing using AI transcription models.
ARNote cloud transcription servers may be hosted using third-party cloud infrastructure providers, including RunPod or similar cloud infrastructure. These servers are used only to process audio for transcription.
Uploaded audio is not sold, shared for advertising, used for user profiling, or used for AI model training.
Audio recordings are stored only temporarily during transcription processing and are automatically deleted shortly after transcription is completed.
User Consent Before Audio Upload
Before any audio recording is uploaded for AI transcription, ARNote may present a consent prompt explaining what data is uploaded, why it is uploaded, how it is processed, and that the audio is temporarily stored and later deleted.
If the user does not consent, audio is not uploaded for AI transcription processing.
How We Use Your Data
ARNote uses collected data only to provide core app functionality, including voice recording, AI transcription, note organization, subscription verification, app security and app stability.
Data Sharing
ARNote does not sell user data and does not share personal data with advertisers, third-party marketing companies, or data brokers.
Voice recordings may be securely processed using third-party cloud infrastructure providers only for AI transcription purposes.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are securely processed through Apple App Store services. ARNote does not collect or store payment card details.
Security
ARNote uses secure communication methods and reasonable technical safeguards to protect user data during transmission and processing.
No Account Required
ARNote does not require users to create an account or log in to use the app.
